Windows today still serve the same purposes as in the past such as providing light, views, ventilation, security, noise reduction and insulation. Luckily, today's technology allows you to easily configure the exact combination of features required at a low cost. Features of double glazing or triple glazing include security glass, soundproofing and insulation. Moreover, replacement windows made of uPVC, also called vinyl, can easily pay for themselves by reducing monthly utility costs.
We offer a range of features for all profile types and uPVC or vinyl window styles for both renovation and new constructions. While window glazing plays the largest role in noise reduction, insulation and security, you shouldn't overlook hardware and fittings, particularly regarding security. Last but not least, there are handles, shutters and bug screens to consider. Whether you need locking casement windows, bow windows or electrically or manually operated shutters, you'll find the right ones on windows24.com at low cost plus installation information.
Do you need some help deciding to purchase your casement windows? Extensive information, instructions and drawings make it easier for you to determine the right window dimensions and make your selection. In order to be able to install your desired window after delivery, you will find information videos, thanks to which the installation will be a breeze even for amateur craftsmen (applies equally to PVC windows, wooden and aluminium windows). If you still don't trust your craftsmanship, you can of course have your window installed by a professional installer.

Polyvinyl chloride (short uPVC or vinyl) has proven to be an extremely durable material for construction components such as casement windows. The average price for these products is lower than for other materials with comparable characteristics, for example, aluminium or timber. In the last decades, the continuous development of ever better profiles and the competitive uPVC windows prices made this material the most popular for new windows. Whether as a sliding solution or with a tilt function, white uPVC became the new standard for a standard glass window. The material also allows for different shapes and large sizes as the vinyl frame is supported by steel.
Through that, the frame casement windows are fit for big constructions while remaining cost-effective. Customers enjoy great liberty in shaping the fenestration of their building thanks to the properties of window vinyl. The British bay windows, for example, with their characteristic sightlines can be renewed as a Low-E uPVC window and will still match the façade.
Modern products do not always have to be expensive. uPVC casement windows are inexpensive to buy compared to aluminium or wooden windows and have excellent values in all functions. They are in no way inferior to other sash windows and use the latest technology. Casement windows made of uPVC (or vinyl) thus embody the highest quality in an inexpensive guise. A combination that is not so easy to beat. Moreover, uPVC windows are no longer only available in plain white but can be ordered in a wide range of colours. This means that the building elements can be conveniently matched to the façade or interior wall.
Unlike windows made of wood or aluminium, uPVC windows are laminated with the help of a special film. This is already applied to the window sash and frame by the manufacturer so that the sash windows arrive at the customer's home ready for installation. In addition to the resulting variety of colours, the films also protect the uPVC from the weather, scratches and impacts.

The uPVC or vinyl windows, which are already very easy to care for, are further protected and guarantee a long service life with a consistently high-quality appearance (lasting colour durability without fading) and consistent function.
The RAL Classic palette offers a huge selection of colours, which have been written down in numerical codes for uniform understanding. The following colours are available for uPVC:
Thermal insulation has become increasingly important in recent years. Windows and exterior doors are an important component in the system of thermal insulation for the entire house. In addition to the profiles of uPVC or vinyl windows, thermal insulating glass is a significant factor in the field of insulation. Double glazed windows can already make the difference between an energy-efficient and an energy-wasting household.
By adding another sealing layer in the middle of the window frame, even greater insulation is achieved. In addition to soundproof glazing, this centre seal also has a positive effect on acoustics.
For uPVC and also for all other materials, insulating glazing is available as double glazed or triple glazed. Each of these options offers different heat transfer coefficients (U-value):
The unit of the heat transfer coefficient (U-value) describes how much energy is lost through a structural component – in this case the pane or glass – on one square metre when the temperature difference on both sides of the component is one Kelvin. A low value is therefore preferable to a high value. A deviation of 0.1 W/(m2K) can already cause large differences in the energy efficiency of the house.
windows24.com offers you a variety of windows with window profiles from the German brand manufacturer aluplast. Simply place your order in our window configurator in just a few clicks: First, select what material you want your windows to be – uPVC (or vinyl), wood (or timber), or aluminium. We also offer combinations of materials, such as composite windows or PVC-alu, that add an aluminium cladding to a vinyl or timber profile. Of course, we also offer many other products such as lift-and-slide doors, fixed glazing and back doors from well-known profile manufacturers.
Next, you select a profile. In the category uPVC, you will find different design variants from the window manufacturer aluplast, which have a positive influence on the insulation of your home – especially the 6-chamber system energeto®8000 ED. The profiles also offer a variety of designs, such as flush or semi flush.
The next step is to choose colours or decors as well as the window type: here you determine how many parts your sash windows should have. You can select between single-sash, double-sash or triple-sash or a special shape, if desired. The top light and bottom light can then be added with a click.
An important piece of information is the size of the window. The dimensions are entered as width and height in the configurator and are immediately checked by the configurator. If inadmissible dimensions are entered, the window configurator indicates this straight away.
The next step is selecting the type of glass, the equipment and accessories. The options include glazing, any insect screens, handles, glazing bars and much more. The advantage of the configurator is that every detail of your order is clearly displayed on the menu attached to the side, including the price.
All components are always visible all the time during the configuration and your desired uPVC window can be ordered at the lowest price or with all high-quality features.
Windows made of uPVC or vinyl are in the vast majority of cases the cheapest option in window construction. Window prices on windows24.com start from €36 (inc VAT) in our online shop. There are different factors influencing the window prices, like the opening type (fixed or casement), size in mm, white as colour or a decorative foil, or a double-glazed unit or triple glass. Instead of adding a window film later, frosted glass can be selected, which comes in handy for bathrooms or other rooms with needs for privacy. The material is not only the ideal choice in terms of price but thanks to high-quality workmanship and modern multi-chambered profiles, excellent thermal insulation values are also achieved. The triple glazed profile energeto 8000 ED starts from €67 (inc. VAT) and is even suitable for passive houses.
Energy costs are rising continuously and the topic of insulation is becoming increasingly important. To be considered suitable for passive houses, the Building Energy Act GEG of Germany stipulates a maximum U-value of 0.8 W/m²K for windows and doors. With 0.74 W/m²K, our vinyl profile energeto 8000 ED even undercuts this value and thus offers you the opportunity to live in a particularly energy-saving way. This is achieved by a construction with 6 chambers, highly insulating thermal foam and a carbon fibre reinforcement instead of steel. But even choosing triple-glazed instead of double glazed windows can decrease the U-value significantly.
One of the greatest advantages of uPVC casement windows is that they are low-maintenance and easy to clean. A little warm water and detergent usually help against normal dirt. If you want to do something good for your windows, use special PVC window cleaners that prevent dirt from sticking and causing discolouration. Important: never use abrasive milk or agents containing chlorine, as these attack the material. And don't forget to clean the hinges and gaskets once a year.
The days when uPVC windows were uniformly white are long gone; today you can choose from a large number of colours and decors to influence the window style. Even cosy wood designs can be configured as desired, including mahogany or even golden oak. Compared to real wood, your window with wood decor remains weatherproof, UV-resistant and easy to maintain.
You can determine the height and width of your uPVC windows individually and select up to three sashes. There are no binding standard window sizes; the ideal dimensions depend on many factors, some of them personal. For the south side of a house, for example, large window areas are ideal for letting in a lot of light. The technically feasible minimum and maximum dimensions are always displayed in the window configurator.
In addition to saving on what your windows cost, it is above all the lower maintenance that is most outstanding for uPVC or vinyl windows. Thanks to modern construction with a multi-chamber system, they are in no way inferior to wooden windows in terms of thermal insulation and are sometimes even better. The material makes any double glazed windows durable for a long time and resistant to dirt and scratches.
We use the so-called extrusion process for the colour of our vinyl windows. In this process, the frame is heated again during the production process and sprayed with a special adhesive. The respective decorative film is then applied and fused firmly to the surface through high pressure. This makes the colour UV-resistant, long-lasting and colour-fast even after many years.
Steel reinforcements serve to increase the stability and improve the security of uPVC windows. For this reason, except for the energeto 8000 ED, all our uPVC profiles are equipped with a bolted steel reinforcement as standard. In place of this, the energeto 8000 ED has a reinforcement made of the innovative plastic Ultradur® High Speed, which has the same effect as steel but provides better thermal insulation values.
