With low manufacturing costs, the material provides an affordable alternative to aluminium composite doors while still being as easy to maintain. As with aluminium, for example, uPVC doors can be cleaned with a sponge and soapy water which removes the fuss of regular oiling needed for more traditional door materials like wood.
Thanks to their properties and the high-quality colours and decors that can be selected to coat them, at windows24.com, uPVC doors are also very weatherproof. They cannot rot, for example, and aggressive UV radiation from constant exposure to sunlight will have little effect; even after years of use, your door will continue to shine a radiant white or charm with its beautiful timber decor.

At windows24.com the choice is one between clear and ornamental variants. Triple glazing, for example, has an impressively low thermal u-value and can cut energy costs by stabilising indoor temperatures.
In a similar way, if increased break-in protection is of larger importance to you, then panels can be reinforced with a six-millimetre-thick laminated safety pane added to their exterior. Consisting of a barely noticeable tear resistant film, laminated safety glass is particularly resistant to impact and has a lower risk of shattering, making your uPVC door even more likely to withstand break-in attempts.

White is set as the standard colour for these doors in the configurator. However, you can also choose from our wide range of five decors, such as golden oak or walnut for a wooden appearance, as well as four further colours including anthracite, grey or metallic iron.
In addition to appearance and low maintenance, an entrance door’s security is a further key feature. All our uPVC doors with glass come with a pre-selected security package featuring locks and hinges. These can, however, be modified to further reduce the risk of a break-in, such as by adding safety glass or changing the locking mechanism to an automatic system featuring extra side hinge security add-ons.
