With their modern insulating core and charming wood-replica decor, oak uPVC windows merge the old with the new. They can be beautifully combined with wooden doors and are ideal for white plaster exteriors and traditional timber beam cottages alike.
Both our aluplast and Kömmerling profiles can feature a standard Golden Oak exterior look or rather fashion a darker Bog Oak, for example.
Further highly innovative options are then exclusively available for our aluplast profiles. Referred to as woodec, these modern, market-leading decors make uPVC windows and doors look like they are made from wood, both in terms of appearance and texture.
While the Turner Oak Malt option will create a subtle mid-tone timber style, Sheffield Oak Alpine will go particularly well with white exteriors thanks to its lighter shade.
For darker or greyer façades, the Sheffield Oak Concrete can then be an ideal option, whereas for a rich brown that can provide a contrast or blend beautifully with dark wood doors, the Turner Oak Toffee is also available.
Short for unplasticized polyvinyl chloride, uPVC is a modern material for windows and doors that can be purchased for quite an affordable price. Its surfaces are also particularly low maintenance and easy to clean. A further key advantage is then that the material is very insulating. This is due to the multiple air-trapping chambers inside its core, which reduce energy loss via conduction and mean that savings can be made on utility bills.
In terms of our window and French doors' profiles, these refer to the products' exact construction. Some, such as the standard IDEAL 4000 can be purchased at a very competitive, low price, for example, and provide good insulation thanks to 5 interior chambers.
On the other hand, alternative window profiles like the premium energeto 8000 ED then feature carbon fibre rather than steel reinforcement, 6 chambers, and extra insulating foam. This design will make the window very thermally efficient and means that the product is compatible with select passive house building requirements.
To customise their style, our windows can be combined with a range of quality add-ons.
You can select an internal window sill, for example, which can come with a fine textured Rustic Oak decor finish. This creates a harmonious finish and boasts charming grain detail. On the other hand, to add contrast, options like Marble Bianco and Polar White are also available.
While internal sills add to design, details, and create a useful ledge for displaying items, we also offer external sills that help water to drain and serve a more functional purpose. In a Silver, White (RAL 9016), or Concrete Grey (RAL 7023) finish, the sills can complement Golden Oak decor windows very nicely, for example
