ABUS FO400N window handle lock

The FO400N window handle lock from ABUS offers additional high-quality and practical security for any window. An integrated additional lock and handle lock ensure twice the protection: practical child safety and increased break-in protection. The additional lock has a variable backset adjustment of 30-37 mm and a pressure resistance of over one tonne. The window is locked and closed using the handle.

A printing cylinder ensures that the window is completely locked.

As such, the ABUS FO 400 N window lock can be used to reliably prevent potential break-ins from outside as well as unsupervised opening of the window by children. The additional lock is available in white, brown and silver.

Installing the ABUS window handle lock is uncomplicated and can even be carried out by a do-it-yourselfer. All required materials and detailed assembly instructions are included with the product. The handle is simply fitted in place of the existing window handle on inward-opening windows and balcony doors (e.g. balcony, terrace and glass doors) using turn and turn-tilt fittings.

The FO400N lock can be used with bothDIN left- as well as DIN right-opening doors.

The window lock is then operated like any conventional standard handle. Due to its compact design, the ABUS FO400N additional window lock can also be used in tight spaces. This additional lock is therefore suitable for any window and balcony door – regardless of whether it is made of uPVC, wood or aluminium. The adjustable square spindle enables universal use of the window handle lock. Each of these ABUS additional window locks uses the same key; two keys are provided. Consequently, several locks can be opened with just one key.
