Thanks to its small space requirement between the window and embrasure, the slim ABUS FAS101 hinge side lock is a particularly inconspicuous window lock that can be used to upgrade any inward-opening windows and patio doors made of wood and uPVC. The ABUS FAS101 is extremely user-friendly: when the window is opened, the hinge-side safety lock simply turns with it. To tilt, all you have to do is press the steel pin, no key necessary. If the window is closed, the ABUS hinge side lock always activates automatically, thus significantly increasing security.

Thanks to the red marking, you can always see whether the lock is in the open or closed position.

Available in brown, white and silver, the ABUS FAS101 additional window lock is both DIN- tested as well VdS-certified. It also offers a pressure resistance of over one tonne, which makes prying the window or door open from the outside much more difficult. The ABUS FAS101 hinge side lock is supplied with a second sash plate for seam thicknesses of 20 to 26 mm.
