When fitted with Schüco’s own "AvanTec SimplySmart Open Secure" tilt mechanism, Schüco AWS 70.HI windows provide additional break-in protection, even when left open. Windows fitted with the system can open 175 mm and be left tilted overnight without a second thought, ensuring protection and pleasant air circulation.
Schüco AWS 70.HI windows provide an innovative solution to aluminium’s naturally high thermal conductivity which can cause heat loss. The profiles are manufactured, for example, to feature a technically complex core containing foam and multiple chambers which act as a thermal break.
This technical make-up means that new aluminium windows, such as those with Schüco profiles, come with good thermal insulation. The Schüco AWS 70.HI model can achieve Uw-values as low as 0.67 W/(m²k), for example.
