Get a quote to include delivery
Below is a step-by-step overview of the entire process, from inquiry to delivery.
Step 1: Send your inquiry
Configure your product according to your wishes. You have a wide range of options to choose from, such as materials, profiles, colours, dimensions, glazing, additional accessories and much more.
After you have finished and gone through the check-out process, you can get a quote for delivery.
A member of our sales team will evaluate your requirements and determine whether additional information is necessary. If so, they will contact you immediately with further questions or details required to finish your quote. This will happen within 48 hours of receiving your request.
Please note: We operate on Central European Time (UTC+1). However, you can book an appointment conveniently through Calendly. For example, if you book an appointment for 4pm (Berlin UTC+1), it will take place at 10am EST in New York City (UTC-5) or 3pm GMT in London (UTC+0).
Step 3: Receive a free quote
After receiving your request and your delivery address details, a sales representative analyses your requirements and will send you a quote including the calculated shipping costs for delivery.
Step 4: Turn quote into order
After agreeing on the shipping costs, we convert the offer into a real order. You will then receive a confirmation by e-mail. As soon as the payment has been received, all information is transmitted to production and we will proceed with the manufacturing process
Our production times are fast, e.g. uPVC windows on average are produced between 3-4 weeks, roller shutters often within 3 weeks. The production time can differ and will be estimated for each order separately.
Should you have any questions throughout the entire process your sales representative will be happy to provide you with current order status, answer any questions and sometimes even provide pictures from the production floor showing your particular order.
Once production is complete, your order is transferred to the logistics department. There, your windows and doors are packed onto special wooden pallets, wrapped with a protective foil and carefully fastened together.
If required for large glass elements or upon your specific request, we can pack the goods into wooden crates. This offers the maximum safety to your products. This service comes with extra costs and is subject to the acceptance of the logistic company. They are then prepared for transport to the port via truck or alternatively to the airport.
After carefully packing the goods, they are transported from the factory to Hamburg or Bremerhaven. At the port of departure, your windows and doors are loaded into a container by certified export handlers and will be verified. Every shipment is fully insured.
Depending on the size of your order, they will be loaded into a 20-foot, 40-foot standard or 40-foot high cube container. Upon shipment, we provide you with the following documents which will help you arrange clearance through customs.
- Invoice
- Bill of Lading
- Packing List
- ISF Importer Security Filing
Step 8: Arrival at port of destination & Customs Clearance
When the container ship reaches your nearest local port, the container is then unloaded and the customs clearance process begins. We can arrange for a broker to assist with the process upon request.
We have extensive experience in worldwide logistics and we are working with the largest sea, road and air freight forwarders, and we are happy to assist our customer with all the required details and information for a smooth delivery process.
